We are really looking forward to our second Olympic Weightlifting Talent Camp with Team GB coach Dave Sawyer that is taking place tomorrow. We have a great set of young athletes in attendance who are keen to take their skills further. A great opportunity for our NADA athletes!
An update to say that at this time NADA is really going strong, with our three Tuesday evening sessions being very well supported.
We are also developing links with other sports organisations in enable young athletes at NADA great opportunities to broaden their physical activity base and participate in sports they may not usually get the chance to.
It is visibly noticeable that all our youngsters are now moving more efficiently, are quicker and stronger and this is backed up by our evidence from our fitness testing.
Since September we have ran a number of Elite Camps, during the school holidays, that have provided lots of young athletes with some great experiences and coaching too.
As a Teacher of Physical Education for almost 25 years I can think of no better place for a parent to bring their sporty child, if they are looking for them to compete at some stage at a high level.
In the near future we are looking to expand further and offer more youngsters the opportunity to really become the best they can be!
Watch this space!
Happy New Year Everyone!

Welcome to our NADA website where you will find all the information that you will need to know about our work with young athletes.
Being committed to ensuring as many children as possible benefit from our expertise, it is great to see the growth of NADA over this term. We have been fortunate enough to work with a number of primary schools and local clubs to support we ll over 70 athletes at this time.
With new staff such as Cole Welle our resident US Hoods Basketball player, as well as welcoming Sophie and Ivy, who are our supporting Sports Leaders, NADA really has a buzz about it and is fun to be around.
But the REAL buzz is seeing the development of our athletes, as they become stronger, more flexible and quicker in their movements! We never get tired of seeing this, it’s remarkable!
Thank you goes to all our supporting parents and we look forward to good times in the future!
